01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mr. Jhole, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Mr. Jhole is a hyperlocal community platform built for Nepal — connecting people to buy, sell, discover, and chat within their neighbourhoods. If you don't agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.
02Jhole Pasal (Marketplace)
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and condition of their listings. Mr. Jhole is a discovery platform — we do not handle payments or arrange delivery between parties. Users must meet in safe, public places and settle transactions directly.
- Fraudulent or misleading listings will result in immediate removal and account suspension.
- Mr. Jhole is not liable for disputes arising between buyers and sellers.
03Location Data
Mr. Jhole collects your location to power hyperlocal features like nearby listings, Radar discovery, and room proximity. Here is exactly how we handle it:
- Location data is used only to provide in-app features — never sold to third parties.
- You can manage or revoke location permissions through your device settings at any time.
- Approximate location (city/district) may be stored to improve local relevance; precise GPS is processed in real time and not retained.
04Real-Time Messaging (Chiya Guff)
Chiya Guff rooms and direct messages are stored on Mr. Jhole servers. By using the messaging features, you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for the content of messages you send.
- Harassment, spam, threats, or any illegal content in messages is strictly prohibited.
- Mr. Jhole reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove messages that violate community standards.
- Message history may be retained for a period necessary to maintain service quality and resolve disputes.
05User Generated Content
You own the content you create and post on Mr. Jhole — photos, listings, posts, and messages. By posting content, you grant Mr. Jhole a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content solely within the platform to provide the service.
- You must have the rights to any content you upload (photos, text, media).
- Content that violates copyright, privacy, or community standards will be removed.
- You can delete your content at any time through your account settings.
06J-Points & Sajha Deals
J-Points are virtual community rewards with no monetary value. They are earned through platform activity and used for reputation, leaderboards, and unlocking community features.
- J-Points are non-transferable between accounts.
- J-Points may be held in escrow during active Sajha Deals and released on completion.
- Mr. Jhole reserves the right to adjust, correct, or reset points in cases of abuse or system updates.
07Coming Soon Features
Jhole Boli (auctions) and Jhole Tank (ideas & pitching) are currently in development and not yet available to the public. Terms specific to those features will be added here when they launch. Stay tuned!
08Prohibited Behaviour
The following actions are not allowed on Mr. Jhole:
- Posting illegal, stolen, or prohibited items.
- Harassment, hate speech, or threatening behaviour toward other users.
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others.
- Attempting to manipulate J-Points, listings, or platform features through automated means.
Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
09Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Mr. Jhole may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. Upon termination, your public listings and content may be removed. Any accrued J-Points will be forfeited.
10Disputes & Limitation of Liability
If you have a dispute with another user, we encourage you to resolve it directly and respectfully — that's the Jhole spirit. Mr. Jhole is not a party to transactions or agreements between users and is not liable for losses arising from them.
Mr. Jhole provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any unresolved disputes should be referred to the appropriate jurisdiction in Nepal.
